(VIDEO) Team Yokohama smashes its own record with the HER-02 at Pikes Peak

We announced on June 28th that Nissan had achieved a new record for an electric car from series production with the Leaf at the 89th edition of Pikes Peak.

Meanwhile, the HER-02, an electric concept vehicle designed by Yokohama in collaboration with AC Propulsion, improved the record for the electric vehicles all together, cars and motorcycles, breaking its own performance by almost a minute.

The driver of the HER-02, Ikuo Hanawa set a 12: 20 084 time (the previous record, dating from 2010 was 13: 17 575).
