The Fisker Karma at the Monaco F1 GP

The Fisker Karma is an electric sedan with range extender, which comes from the U.S.and is built by Valmet in Finland, it made its first european public appearance with HSH Prince Albert of Monaco and Henrik Fisker on board.

Before the qualifying of Monaco’s Formula1 Grand Prix yesterday, Prince Albert took the wheel of the first Karma out of the production line for some laps of the famous inner city Grand-Prix.

The Karma was also dispalyed at the turns 10 and 11, near their new retailler, Monaco Motors.

In short, the Fisker Karma is an premium efficient sedan which is available in Europe at € 105,600, two electric motors develop 403hp, its range in electric mode only is 80km, the 260hp gasoline engine that powers an electric generator supplying electricity to the batteries (when they are discharged), can increase the total autonomy to over 480km.

The Karma has three driving modes, the fastest, Sport mode allows a 0 to 100kph in 5.9 seconds and a top speed of 201kph.
