If you didn’t know, Ferrari is working on a new 612 Scaglietti 2+2 coupe.
What is new, is that the car will be the first hybrid Ferrari.
Other engines should be available but this version uses a V12 developing 550 hp AND an extra 100 hp from the electric motor at the back.
The car will be the first production vehicle to use the hybrid powertrain introduced on the Hybrid 599 (pics and infos in our data base) at this year’s Geneva Motor Show, the Hy-Kers. From our sources the powertrain allows 35 percent improvement on fuel economy!
The car should appear at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show, in March.
