Graphene, a synonym of fast charging.

After the article of the 07/02/2010 we have another sign that some important upgrades on charging time are on the way.

Vorbeck Materials announced a collaboration with PNNL (Pacific Northwest National Laboratory) to develop Graphene for batteries.

About Graphene:
At the beginning the company Vorbeck developpped a Graphene based conductive ink, the Vor-ink. One of its application is the Vor-X a patented Vorbeck’s material developed at Princeton University. It enables electronic devices to recharge in minutes or to extend the range of vehicles. PNNL has demonstrated that small quantities of high-quality Graphene can dramatically improve power and stability of batteries while maintaining high energy storage capacity.
