Ten electric Porsche 911 test vehicles by RUF

The German tuner RUF never hid its taste for electric cars (electric Cayenne and eRUF Roadster) and has just revealed that, with the help of Siemens he is actually building ten electric Porsche 997 with three different versions.

These cars will be used for tests and presented in the coming months.

Version 1: Single engine
Based on a Porsche 997 with a Siemens 180kW (241hp) engine, 29 kWh Lithium Ion battery and a Porsche gearbox.
Performances: range of 150km, 0 to 100kph in 7 seconds and top speed of 220kph.

Version 2: Two engines and two speed gearbox
Based on a Porsche 997 with two Siemens engines for a total output of 250kW (335ch), 36.6kWh Lithium Ion battery, and two speed automatic gearbox with limited-slip differential.
Performance: range of 200km, 0 to 100kph in 5 seconds and top speed of 220kph.

Version 3: Two engines and Torque Vectoring technology
Based on a Porsche 997 with two Siemens engines for a total output of 250kW (335ch), 36.6kWh Lithium Ion battery, and Torque Vectoring technology with independent rear wheel drive.
Performance: range of 200km, 0 to 100kph in 5 seconds and top speed of180kph.
