The Range Rover hybrid revealed at 89g/km

After the full electric version by Liberty Electric Cars it is now to Range Rover itself to reveal at Geneva 2011 an hybrid version of its SUV capable of emissions as low as the ones of the Prius!

This prototype has been build on a Range Rover Sport platform and uses a plug-in hybrid technology based on the 3.0l TDV6 diesel engine and achieves emissions of only 89g/km!

It will be officially revealed at the Geneva Auto Show and showcases the ongoing technological developments at Land Rover.

Its electric range is 32km while achieving a top speed of 193kph and a combined range of more than 1112km!
