The C-Class coupé revealed

Five engines will be available, all BlueEFFICIENCY labelled: 

Three petrol engines and two diesel engines, with direct injection and Stop/Start ECO function as standard. 

The automatic models are equipped with the 7G-TRONIC PLUS gearbox. While it comes as standard on the C 250 and C 350 gasoline models, the diesel variants C 220 CDI, C 250 CDI and the entry-level C180 gasoline version are equipped with a six-speed manual gearbox.

Diesel versions in detail:
- The most eco-friendly version is the C 220 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY, its combined fuel economy is 4.4 l per 100km, with emissions of 117 g/km for 170hp of power and 400Nm of torque. 0 to 100kph takes 8,4 secondes (8,1 with the automatic gearbox)
- The C 250 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY announces 4.9 l per 100 km in combined cycle and emits only 128 grams of CO2 per kilometer for a 204hp output and 500Nm of torque. 0 to 100kph takes 7 seconds (7.1 seconds with the automatic gearbox).

The Mercedes C Class coupé will be displayed at the Geneva 2011 Auto Show and available from June 2011.
