Here is the E-3POD Antistatic a futuristic machine that Heikki Juvonen created for Citroën during a design contest at the Royal College of Arts of London.
Still too unreal for series production, let’s hope that this study will bring an electric mini DS, an EV-DS.
Because it seems likely that Citroën works on an urban electric vehicle:
Renault has in its ZE range
an electric city vehicle, the Twizy
that will be available by year end.
On the other hand, Peugeot and Citroën have nothing to compete and no one in the PSA group could innovate better than Citroen on this market while Peugeot could focus on its Hybrid4 technology
Just like the DS 24
let’s hope that this concept gives ideas to the brand, and that during the 6 month contract at the PSA design center that Heikki Juvonen won with its first prize in the competition, a such model in a series version could become reality.
