Ford Mondeo ECOnetic 2011, the most frugal ever built

During the Brussels auto show, Ford announced the replacement of the engine 2,0l TDCI Duratorq by the 1,6l on: Mondeo, S-Max and Galaxy from February.

The engine 1,6l TDCI Duratorq develops 114ch for 280Nm of torque

The ecological performances: 
- On the Mondeo equipped with manual gearbox, the mixed consumption is 4.9l per 100km with emissions of 129g per km. 
- As for S-Max and for Galaxy, nothing is said on their emissions but the mixed consumption is only 5,4l  per 100km

The special edition Mondeo Econetic:
This series, equipped with the technology Auto-Start-Stop and with a specific aerodynamic kit combined with lower suspensions allows emissions of 114 g per km, and therefore is the most frugal Ford Mondeo ever built.
