(VIDEO) Nissan BladeGLider « the EV for car lovers »

You certainly remember the BladeGlider concept-car presented by Nissan at the Tokyo Motor Show in 2013, following the acclaim received then, the brand that has imposed its electric compact sedan as top seller – the Nissan Leaf of course- decided to develop a prototype of its BladeGlider, a futuristic three-seater electric sportscar!

 

 

Indeed, the success of the Nissan Leaf pushes to explore other horizons, whether in the fuel cell (Solid Oxide Fuel Cell) with their NV200 SOFC presented just a few days or with a sportier and more radical interpretation of EVs and Intelligent mobility according to Nissan!


First of all, its architecture inspired by the Deltawing is ultra-aerodynamic and allows optimal grip and handling.


The BladeGlider demonstrates the possibilities of electric vehicles based on the brand’s skills, EV for car lovers that pushes the envelope!

 


Placed in the center of the vehicle outright in a cockpit, the driver has a panoramic view with a very low center of gravity to get the best of the car’s performances:
An electric motor is fitted in each rear wheel with a combined power of 268hp and torque of 707nm for a weight of 1300kg authorizing a 0 to 100kph in under 5 seconds and a top speed of 190kph.


No dates or even launch confirmation has been reveal but two vehicles where presented during the Olympic games of Rio!
