To build this E-Elysée, Citroën has used the knowledge of its local partner Dongfeng who already presented electric cars, and its local flagship unknown to us but representing nearly a third of Citroen's sales locally on a total of 300,000 sales in 2015 making it the brand's first market worlwide! Therefore an electric version is obviously highly strategic in a country already used to electric vehicles! Besides Dongfeng had presented a model of electric sedan on a similar segment, the S30EV in 2012!
Few information on this electric sedan Citroën E-Elysée, except a range of 250km, recharging in 30 minutes on a fast charger or 6.5h in normal charge, and arrival on the Chinese market in 2017 - without export infos for the west!
We also recall the presence of the e-Mehari, a small cool electric car, developed with Bolloré and based on the BlueSummer, and its Courreges version - to the well knowed colors of the French fashion brand yellow and white!
