After the electric scooter here is BMW’s electric motorcycle eRR

As the EICMA show approaches - the Milan Motorcycle Show which opens its doors next week - BMW reveals a concept of electric superbike, the eRR

Electric Supersport eRR

The BMW eRR is an experimental vehicle developed with the University of Munich, TUM to which we owe the project "Mute" or VisioM, a concept of 100% electric urban SUV in development for the past 3 years.

The electric motorcycle BMW eRR is based on the chassis of their S1000RR supersports that develops 199hp, except that this supersports bike has been beaten on the stand start by the C Evolution scooter that has only 15kW!
It is thus almost naturally that BMW’s engineers decided to electrify their superbike with this eRR concept!

For now it is only a concept and its performances are not revealed but we would well imagine it take the start of the famous race of the Isle of Man, TT Zero alongside the Motoczysz or Mugen...
Currently on the market there are some sport electric motorcycles available such as the Brammo Empulse R or eCRP
