Audi R8 e-tron and Q7 e-Tron premiered in Geneva!


On its Geneva Motor Show booth Audi reveals two novelties of the range e-tron, the R8 that was already on the front of the stage with the previous generation but also, the brand's first plug-in hybrid SUV!

Pilot project of the brand since 2010, it had been was officially aborted since, but with the arrival of the new model and improved technology here is the return of the R8 e-tron.

Electric supercar with 340kw (462hp) and 920nm, the Audi R8 e-tron is still a 100% electric, which now has 450 km of range thanks to a new battery technology, this power allows it to offer a 0 to 100kph in only 3,9seconds! The car will be available to order from this year but no price has been announced yet!

Audi Q7 e-tron

This engine which is also presented in the Audi Prologue Avant Concept is a diesel plug-in hybrid that combines a 3.0TDI with an electric motor placed in the gearbox for a total of 373hp, 700nm of torque allowing a 0 to 100kph in 6 seconds with a consumption of only 1.8l/100km in NEDC cycle!

Therefore with its combined range of 1410km this Q7 e-tron is the most frugal ever offered by the brand, it will be available from spring 2016, its price is not revealed either!
