(VIDEO) Suzuki iK-2 & iM-4 - breath of fresh air in Geneva


For the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, which opens today, Suzuki reveals two novelties, a small 4WD / crossover and a compact-car that adopts efficient engines and mild hybrid tech!

Both concepts announce a renewal for the brand with a new platform, but also a new engine Boosterjet a 1.0l turbo direct injection engine that will be fitted in the iK-2.

For the launch a mild hybrid tech called SHVS will be available and revealed next year with a starter generator ISG, lithium-Ion batteries, and powered by braking energy regeneration!
Both models are based on a new platform, lighter and stiffer.

Suzuki iK-2

New compact-car of 4.02m it announces a production model scheduled for 2016.
In the wake of the flood of urban-cars, the brand conveys to the compact-car format with sporty lines in particular the bonnet and hatchback.

Suzuki iM-4

Mini 4WD compact crossover with 3.69m it will be powered by a 1.2l DUALJET combined with the SHVS technology, a Manga look and resolutely modern for this worthy successor of the Jimny, for now no release date announced!
