New Audi Q7, now available in plug-in hybrid e-tron quattro

On the NAIAS Audi presents its flagship SUV replacement, the Q7, we will introduce the most eco friendly version, the Q7 e-tron 3.0TDI.

Plug-in Audi Q7 - a first!

After the A3 e-tron Sportback first gasoline plug-in hybrid of the brand, the new generation of the Q7 will also receive electric motors combined to the brand’s famous 3.0TDI V6 to offer a driving comfort equivalent to the 4.2TDI, while being more reasonable in terms of consumption and emissions.

The new Q7 in short

Like the new Range Rover L405, the Q7 is offered with a diet, up to 325kg less than the previous version, therefore, with the same engine the car promises more frugality and dynamism! For the record, Audi promised a comprehensive range of e-tron models for 2017, the Q7 is leading the way!

The Q7 e-tron Quattro in figures

A first electric motor is placed in the gearbox, another on the rear axle to provide a total of 373hp and 700nm of torque, four-wheel drive and a range in electric only of 56km with the 17.3kWh battery, emissions NEDC are 50g / km for a consumption of 1.7l per 100km.

Release is expected by the end of the year or in early 2016!
