In addition to the A7 Sportback Piloted Driving named "Jack" who came to the CES after a journey of 560 miles, Audi presents an electrified version (e-tron) of the A9, a concept of Audi A8 coupe like Mercedes did with the S-Class.

For the CES Las Vegas, Audi presents a hybrid version of the luxury coupe called Prologue but that foreshadows the A9.

Initially presented at the Los Angeles Auto Show with a 4.0l V8 Biturbo, the addition of an electric motor allows to reach 687hp (+ 82hp) but especially 950nm of torque (300nm more), more than enough to rival the AMG version of the S-Class Coupé, which has 585ch and 700nm! The transmission is a 8 speed DSG gearbox.

Still aiming to rival the S-Class, it also adopts the Piloted Driving / autonomous technology at speeds up to 65kph, for the moment no release date is announced but it seems imminent!

Here is an animation showing the car and detailing the operation mode of the autonomous technology based on radar sensors, lasers, ultrasound and camera.

Coming back to the Audi A7 "Jack", the car traveled 900km on the open road, from the Silicon Valley to Las Vegas demonstrating its ability to integrate and evolve in the traffic autonomously.
