Dubuc SLC readies an electric sports car made in Quebec

After Lito Green Motion and the Sora electric superbike coming from Canada, it is on 4 wheels that Dubuc Motors wants to show off with an electric sports car!

Just after presenting the Tomahawk a kit car available in electric or combustion, Dubuc Motors SLC speeds up and wishes to become the first electric car manufacturer from Quebec thanks to state support and fundraising on the site Angel List.
For its kit car, Dubuc Motors has developed a 136kg aluminum chassis with crash zones and roll cage.
On this base, they intend to present by 2016 two models, a coupe and a 2+2 powered by two electric motors (it is a 4-wheel drive) for total power (in peak?) of 425hp to achieve the 0 100kph in less than 4 seconds!

The range is expected to reach 350km. Dubuc Motors emphasizes the use of local components and suppliers. While the price of the kit (excluding motor and battery) was set at $ 25,000, the series model should be between 75 and $ 90,000!

The images show the Tomahawk kit car - first prototype of the brand that will serve as a basis for the development but for now we do not know if its design will remain!
