2014 Paris Auto Show: Toyota will present a hybrid crossover

Update of September 15th article with the first images of Toyota's crossover for the C Segment that will compete with the Nissan Juke and Honda HR-V

On the occasion of the 2014 Paris Auto Show, whose opening gets closer, Toyota announces the C-HR Concept, a hybrid crossover!

Presented as an innovative concept with bold style - in this segment where the Renault Captur gets the lion's share in front of the 2008 - this Toyota C-HR Concept is positioned as a response to the Honda Vezel or HR-V, a direct competitor and proposed with hybrid powertrain - to arrive next year in Europe.

In terms of the CH-R's hybrid engine, we will certainly find the 136hp 1.8l HSD  with Atkinson cycle currently offered in the Prius - for the record 3.6l per 100km average consumption and emissions of 84 g/km.

This concept C-HR will be the star of Toyota booth in Paris along with the FCV or Mirai, Toyota fue-cell sedan that will make its European premiere.
