New Volvo XC90 limited series and plug-in hybrid (T8)

Here is the new Volvo XC90 whose first units will be available in limited edition of 1927 copies named First Edition but this time and even if this strategy had been successful with the V60 plug-in, this limited edition plays it safe aiming at for the majority of the market diesel... Too bad!

Still let’s review the brand’s new SUV a very important step for Volvo’s future!

The general design and its profile are not revolutionary – you’d better not disturb fans of the SUV used to sobriety but with a real modernity in the lights expressing the new face of the brand, for example the "Thor" lights at the front and a brand new high-tech "Scandinavian" interior.

For the launch three engines are announced two 2.0liter four-cylinder petrol and diesel respectively T6 and D5 but especially the plug-in hybrid powertrain T8

Connectivity and Safety

On board Bowers & Wilkins sound, Android Auto, Apple Carplay...

And of course a focus on safety with for example – in addition to technologies that are becoming common - two world premieres: automatic braking at intersections and anti-crash protection (seat belt pre-tensioner coupled to a system that absorbs vertical forces in the seat).

Finally, to mention only the most outstanding ones, autonomous driving in the traffic, a technology derived from their car trains.
