Still let’s review the brand’s new SUV a very important step for Volvo’s future!
The general design and its profile are not revolutionary – you’d better not disturb fans of the SUV used to sobriety but with a real modernity in the lights expressing the new face of the brand, for example the "Thor" lights at the front and a brand new high-tech "Scandinavian" interior.
For the launch three engines are announced two 2.0liter four-cylinder petrol and diesel respectively T6 and D5 but especially the plug-in hybrid powertrain T8
This hybrid engine called Twin Engine is the most powerful of the range with 400hp and 640nm for emission of 60 g per km.
The entry model will be offered a € 49900, € 91800 for the First Edition
On board Bowers & Wilkins sound, Android Auto, Apple Carplay...
And of course a focus on safety with for example – in addition to technologies that are becoming common - two world premieres: automatic braking at intersections and anti-crash protection (seat belt pre-tensioner coupled to a system that absorbs vertical forces in the seat).
Finally, to mention only the most outstanding ones, autonomous driving in the traffic, a technology derived from their car trains.
