The new Volvo XC90 inaugurates a petrol plug-in hybrid tech named T8 "Twin Engine" here is that sets the tone!
A 2.0-liter four-cylinder with turbo and compressor - optimizing respectively power at the top and torque at low rpms - is combined with a 60kW electric motor to deliver a combined output of 400hp and torque of 640nm with emissions of just 60g per km.
The electric motor drives the rear axle and allows to run in electric only over a distance of 40kilometers.
