Toyota FCV: the look of the future


Toyota has just revealed the final design and price of its hydrogen sedan whose name is known as FCV for the moment – this model follows the concept presented in 2011 at the Tokyo Motor Show.

Indeed, on the Tokyo Motor Show, Toyota showed a concept of hydrogen sedan called FCV-R and announced its ambitions with a launch in 2015 and a range of 700km.

This morning we have had a confirmation of this announcement, the Toyota FCV will be marketed from next year in Japan first and then in Europe and the United States.

Toyota’s hydrogen car has large vents at the front for optimal cooling of the fuel cell which gives a sporty look to this sedan with relatively conventional performance.

Its price is set at € 50,000 without taxes

Models of hydrogen cars

Some manufacturers are exploring this route, such as the Honda FCX Clarity and Hyundai iX35 Fuel Cell currently sold and tested.
