12/05/2014

Electric mobility is the occasion for old abandoned brands to come back on the front of the stage, after Voxan and recently Saroléa, it is now turn of the legendary Bultaco to tease a retrun with an electric motorcycle!

Bultaco is a mythical manufacturer of motorbikes based in Spain known for its 2 strokes road and race bikes built between 1958 and 1983. Since they stopped the production of bikes, the brand lives on with merchandising such as watches, helmets and motorbikes accessories (gloves, jackets…)

The brand will comeback under the Bultaco Motors name, for the moment, the only information available on the bike is about its design that has been in the works for the last four years at Madrid’s Carlos III university!

The official reveal of Bultaco’s electric bike will take place on May 17th in London, we will for sure post an update then!

Here is the official teaser of Bultaco Motors that simply allows to meditate on the sentence “Sometimes dreams come true”!

For the record, another Spanish electric bike already exists, the Volta BCN, that made the headlines not so long ago but has been rather quiet for the last 9 months… Let’s hope that we will see it soon on the road!
