Update of August 28 article with videos of the cars

Volkswagen highlights the energy consumption of these two vehicles, in fact, in the same way that this data is the workhorse of the manufacturer for combustion vehicles, electric cars do not derogate with a race for efficiency in kWh/100km.

Consumption of VWs electric cars

11.7kWh per 100km for the e-Up
12.7kWh/100 for the e-Golf

Final figures are 115hp and 270nm for a 0 to 100 in 10.4 sec and 140kph max speed with a 24.2kWh battery - a theoretical range of around 200km.
Compared to the prototype presented until then, the power and torque are the same but the 0 to 100kph improves (1.4 seconds faster) while the battery capacity decreases (-2.3kWh), probably to be more affordable.

As for the VW e-up, the capacity of the battery is the same, but the maximum speed is lowered by 5kph while the 0 to 100km/h improves by 1.6 seconds
In detail it offers 82hp and 210 nm, the 0 to 100kph in 12.4 seconds, a top speed of 130kph and a capacity of 18.7kWh

Both models will arrive in showrooms next year, weight and price are not yet announced
