The objective was clear for Jaguar, to offer the performance of a Bugatti Veyron, the flexibility of a Chevrolet Volt and the emissions of a Toyota Prius, in one single car.

Impossible? Wait for the figures! 0 to 160kph in under six seconds, maximum speed announced at 360kph and CO2 emissions of 89g per km!

The 4-cylinder 1.6-liter engine uses a turbocharger and a supercharger technology - like the small 1.4TFSI from VAG, but here, it produces about 500hp. It is simply the engine with the best hp/liter ratio in the world: 313hp per liter.

Jaguar even pushes the envelope further with a combined output of more than 850hp thanks to the two additional electric motors developing 390hp.

Jaguar worked with Williams on this prototype, the brand and its experience in F1 has helped to develop the full carbon monocoque structure, the four-wheel drive hybrid powertrain and a unique and innovative design.

And even if the C-X75 will not see production, it is a technological showcase and laboratory for all the new and the future technologies of Jaguar and Land Rover.
