It was announced, the electric car-sharing service from the group Bolloré was bound to expand in other French cities, including Lyon and Bordeaux but no name had been announced, they are now official! On the occasion of the SAVER show in Bordeaux, the Bolloré Group and the Urban Community of Bordeaux have officially presented the service.
While we presented Bluely a few weeks ago, Bordeaux’s version of the Autolib is expected in November with 40 locations, 180 charging stations and 90 Bluecars. The costs of installation are fully covered by the Bolloré group (estimated at 20 million €), which in exchange occupies the public space via a “temporary occupation permit” (AOT). By 2015, the goal is set at 200 vehicles and 80 locations.
The prices are announced at 99 € per year for the subscription and from € 5.5 to 7 per half hour of use.
The service management should create a forty jobs according the CUB.
For the record, the expansion of the group’s car-sharing services will also go international with a debut expected for early 2014 in Indianapolis with more than 500 cars.
