After a continuous struggle since practice and qualifications between the Mugen Shinden NI and Motoczysz it is finally Michael Rutter on the Motoczysz E1PC'13 who won the legendary event of the Isle of Man!
Both bikes and drivers battled very hard resulting in a difference of only 1.672 seconds at the finish line and impressive average speeds!
The barrier of 110mph average lap speed which was the goal for this year (10mph more than in 2012) remains for 2014 but just by a few tenths !
The average speed of the first two of this TT Zero 2013 edition are very close with respectively 109.675mph (176.5kph) and 109.527mph for Rutter and McGuiness – a 5mph improvement for Rutter.
Third place goes to the winner of the inaugural TT Zero in 2009, Rob Barber with the electric bike developed by the University of Ohio, with an average speed of 90.403mph.
The second Motoczysz driven by Miller could not finish the race because of a gearbox damage!
