2013 IOM TT Zero already 107mph of average speed for the E1PC'13

In recent months, approaching the Isle of Man Trophy, we introduced the competitors and their machines for the 2013 edition of the electric version of the race, the TT Zero.

Motoczysz, winners of the last three editions have been expected, but already make a successful entry into the 2013 Isle of Man.

No more futuristic aerodynamic parts, the E1PC'13 has a more conventional look, but that embeds 20% more energy with the same weight as the previous generation! A feat achieved by Motoczysz engineers who develop the components of their prototypes in-house - however the batteries are provided by Dow Kokam.

The result of the first rounds of testing taking place this weekend is quite eloquent with an average lap speed of 107.81mph and 104.36mph for Michael Rutter and Mark Miller, as a reminder, the goal this year is set at 110mph (177kph)!

The Motoczysz E1PC'13 were officially presented to the press in the IOMTT paddocks but their specifications aren’t official yet...

Third on the podium last year, the Mugen Shinden Ni with John McGuiness reached 105.65mph, the battle for victory will be intense!

The official race will take place on June 5.
Awaiting for this year’s video here is the one from last year.
