At the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, Ulrich Bez, CEO of Aston Martin announced that an Aston Martin Rapide hybrid hydrogen could take the start of the Nurburgring’s 24h!
Indeed, Aston Martin has not chosen the red carpet but the green hell to present its prototype powered by petrol and hydrogen, this hybrid Rapide will develop 500hp and aims to achieve a "race-pace zero emissions lap", therefore only with hydrogen!
This demonstrator will affirm the technological choices of the English brand, the hydrogen - hybrid (without fuel-cell) allowing to keep the sound of the V8 and V12!
"I believe this hydrogen hybrid technology is the way to zero emission in 20, 30 or 40 years' time"
