Better than the hybrid supercars like the McLaren P1, Ferrari F150 or Porsche 918 Spyder here is a new member of electric supercars with more than 1000hp!

In short, this Applus Volar-e is the racing version (stripped interior and oversized spoiler) of the well-known world’s most powerful electric car, the Rimac One, with a different design.

As we told you in a previous article this e-Volar has been co-funded by the European Commission in a tender won by the Spanish consulting and engineering company Applus IDIADA which then naturally turned to Rimac.

Here that confirms our suspicions about the so-called first production Rimac Automobili presented under cover almost a month ago ...

The Volar-e is based on the same powertrain and chassis as the Rimac One: four electric motors delivering a maximum power of 800kW (1080ch) for a maximum speed of 300kph... It will be used as technology demonstrator in international events.
