The replacement of the Jamais Contente - an electric car that made history with a speed record - is currently under construction in the United States. It will develop a phenomenal 3000hp!

The construction phase of the electric record car Venturi VBB-3 (Venturi Buckeye Bullet 3), successor to the fastest car in the world, the Venturi "Jamais Contente" began on the Ohio State University (OSU) Campus. No figures on the expected speed is announced but with nearly 3000 horses under the hood, the previous record should be smashed! For the record, the Venturi Jamais Contente, had reached 515kph on the Bonneville Salt Flats in the United States in 2011, with its motors that developed 800hp then...

It was named in honor of the first car –by the way electric- which exceeded 100kph, it was in 1899. Venturi President, Gildo Pastor Palanca says that this project serves to "demonstrate the supremacy of electric vehicles."
