The company founded by Francois-Xavier Huille and Yves Kerlo to explore, develop and commercialize electric motorcycles continued to work on the prototype and will present next week the H-Ker First on a race-track, a recreational electric motorcycle developed for pilot schools.
Supported since the start of the project by the French Motorcycles Federation (FFM), this race-initiation electric motorcycle will allow to discover the basics of racing.
Designed from of an “hyper-sport” 125cc frame, the First offers 36hp of power with a weight of 150kg via two driving modes, eco or sport for a range up to 1 hour.
Its maximum speed is not announced but for the record the Luciole was able to reach 140kph.
Two types of batteries will be available, Lithium-Ion with a capacity of 7.9kWh or 9kWh.
H-Ker also announced that the First initiates a "line of bikes designed for race-tracks" and even envisions a 100% French ePower championship like the regional TTXGP series.
