VW Taigun, a Up! based three-cylinder powered Crossover

After Ford, BMW, Renault and Peugeot, VW now reveals a three-cylinder engine.

To offer a young product, affordable, compact and adapted to the local market Volkswagen has presented at the Salon de Sao Paulo a world first, the concept Taigun, an “off-road” vehicle that takes the design of the Cross-coupé front-end and grille with the lines of a muscular Tiguan-mainly in the wings.

The Taigun inaugurates a 1.0l three-cylinder TSI engine that develops 110hp for a torque of 175Nm and announces emissions of 110g/km for a consumption of 4.5/100km.
