(VIDEO) Ford launches advertising campaigns of the C-Max Hybrid


In July Ford declared the war to Toyota in a press release clearly targeting the Prius +, only other hybrid MPV on the market. Here are now the commercial strategy that Ford will adopt, two ads, fun and simple to position Ford’s first hybrid car on the fun side.


Both clips use Italian cartoons from the 1970s called "La Linea"
“The ‘La Linea’ C-MAX Hybrid ads are simple, unique spots that will introduce our first all-hybrid line in North America to Americans by hand-drawing the vehicle’s silhouette and showing how it beats Prius V (Prius+), especially in fuel economy,” says Matt VanDyke, director, U.S. Marketing

For the record, the C-Max hybrid announces a fuel consumption of just 5l/100km for 188hp and is expected next year in Europe.

The European price of the C-Max hybrid has not been announced yet, but once again we can expect it to be very close to the one of the Prius +, for example in the United States it is just below at $ 25,995.
