At the 2012 Paris Motor Show
, Citroën will unveil a series of concept cars and new technologies such as the Number 9
or the range of petrol engines PureTech designating the brand’s three cylinders (code name EB at PSA
) with powers from 67hp to 94hp along with consumption and emissions from 4.3l/100km and 99g/km... But another surprise is now highly expected!
After the reveal of the electric Berlingo
a few days ago, Citroën confirms its commitment to electric mobility with a unexpected concept-car (or rather technology demonstrator), an electrified DS3 called DS3 Electrum.
It receives two 65kW electric motors, a total power of 174hp, they are placed on the front axle and the 17.5kWh battery designed by Panasonic provides 120km of range.
According to the preliminary informations the DS3 Electrum keeps its interior space and cargo capacity.
According to Citroen, the purpose of the concept, is to show that 100% electric is not necessarily boring! On the paper, we are already convinced ...
The C-Zero of the Electric Odyssey
will also be displayed on the brand’s booth.
For now, no official picture of the DS3 Electrum has leaked...
