Fisker’s new model: forget Nina here is the Fisker Atlantic (BMW engine)

While Fisker announced the reveal of the Nina at the 2012 New York Auto Show a few days ago with a teaser...

The first spy pictures and additional information just leaked.

Nina was the code name of the project, while the model name is expected to be the Fisker Atlantic (or why hide its ambitions), it will features the Ever technology (electric powertrain with a range extender) but adopting a BMW 2.0l 4 cylinder turbo, more efficient than GM's 260hp 2.l EcoTec from the Fisker Karma.

BMW engine, shorter, and certainly lighter, Fisker’s entry level model seems very promising.

The Fisker Atlantic marks a fresh start, an entry-level, with an estimated price of $ 50,000 (half of the Karma’s, almost equivalent to the Tesla Model S’ ...).

Henrik Fisker’s design is recognizable in a front-end that proudly carries the genes Fisker: a sloping hood, distinctive grille and geometrical air intakes. The back is slightly different and the interior simply seems to be a true work of art ...
