(VIDEO) Geneva 2012: Tata Megapixel, the smallest range extender in the world?

Last year Tata revealed the Pixel, a concept designed to replace the Nano city car in Europe, here is its four-seat version, the Megapixel that foreshadows the next generation of Nano, imagined for Europe.

More than a single model, a range of vehicles that gains in quality and features more advanced technologies.

The Megapixel offers two additional seats and presents an alternative technology with four in-wheel motors, a 13kWh battery that provides 87km of range, and a range extender based on a 325cc single-cylinder gasoline engine that supplies electricity vehicle when the battery is depleted with emissions of just 22g/km. The vehicle's top speed stands at 110km / h.
The vehicle already features induction charging.
