Electric bike: Smart ebikes for Schumacher and Rosberg

Here are the first two owners of the Smart ebike, the Mercedes AMG Petronas Formula 1 drivers.

The launch of the belt driven pedelec announced in August with first deliveries in April 2012 (end of the year for the Brabus version revealed yesterday).

Schumacher and Rosberg received the first production units on the Catalunya race track, they will use these bikes in the paddocks during the Grand Prix.

An opportunity for Smart to remind that their ebike will be available in two colors: crystal white and electric green they also confirmed a price from € 2849 in Germany.
For the record, Opel will present its response to the Smart ebike with the Rad-e pedelec concept at the Geneva Motor Show...
