Audi offered to the fleet a significant launch during the TED2012 conference in Long Beach, where the decisions makers of all over the country (and more) meet.
The vehicles will mainly be available in the cities of San Francisco, Los Angeles, Washington DC and Denver, these tests will help engineers to gather data regarding the vehicle’s performances, its electricity consumption or the effects of climate on the A3 e-tron.
For the record, the Audi A3 e-tron is a 100% electric vehicle -which completes the range of vehicles and technical options of the brand- it features a 116hp and 270Nm engine for a range announced at 140km thanks to a 26.5kWh Lithium Ion battery.
For the moment none fleet of this kind as been announced in Europe.
