Geneva 2012: Yaris Hybrid, 100hp, 79g/km priced from €16950

Revealed as a concept car at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show, comprehensive informations have been unveiled... This compact hybrid that will that will compete with the Honda Jazz Hybrid have just been revealed in its production version at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show that opens its doors to the press today.

The Yaris Hybrid (European Prius C – Toyota Aqua) offers an output of 100hp, a power coming from its 1.5l engine combined to an electric motor, a new generation of hybrid drive train 20% lighter compared to the one of the Auris Hybrid allowing emissions as low as 79g/km.


The Toyota Yaris Hybrid holds the record of the B-segment in terms of emissions (precisely the power/emission ratio).

Its fuel consumption is announced at 3.5l/100km.
About the pricing the entry level model is priced at €16950, €17900 for the Life version and the high-end Club edition at €19200. 


It receives an exclusive exterior with advanced aerodynamics while its interior space and cargo capacity remains the same as combustion models.


The Yaris Hybrid will be available only with automatic transmission for a greater efficiency.
