The Cri-Cri

Innovation and efficiency are the guidelines of EADS. Their last challenge? Zero emission propulsion.
During the Green Aviation Exhibition at the Bourget from the 18th to the 22th June 2010, EADS revealed the first electric acrobatics plane. It has four engines, light composite structures compensating the weight of Lithium batteries. The “contra rotatives” propellers, offer a silent and zero emission propulsion.
Those innovations allow a 110 km/h cruise speed for a range of 30 minutes, 15 minutes at acrobatics speed (250 km/h).
