A F1 with equipped with an electric engine has donelaps on the Magny-Cours race track this September. The goal is to achieve high performances, like an F3, with a range from 20 to 25 minutes.
The company, Formulec is working with Siemens for the engine, Saft for the batteries and Michelin tires. The chassis comes from last season’s Brawn GP and has been modified to integrate the engine and the batteries. The car weights 700kg, goes from 0 to 100kph and achieved 250 kph
