(VIDEO) NAIAS 2012: Lexus LF-LC, the premium hybrid sports-car concept
It was one of the most anticipated revelations of Detroit, after the first images (teaser) last week, the Concept Lexus LF-LC is finally revealed on video.
The concept LF-LC is a 2+2 coupe focused on the driver.
Created by Newport Beach’s Design Studio, this concept is the interpretation of Lexus’ originality, a vision of a premium sports coupe, with the prominent front grille already seen in the Concept LF-Gh that previewed the new GS.
Its streamlined and sporty lines are becoming more tortured on the front and rear-ends, an effect that is accentuated by the lights, real pencil strokes.
The interior that is set in relief thanks to a glass roof contrasts with the strength of the exterior design- full of sweetness and harmony.
Two 12 inches screens are used for infotainment.
The multi-layer LCD dash shows temperature, fuel reserve and Eco Meter ...
On the engine side nothing is announced yet, we only know that it’s a backwheel drive with an engine located in the front.
So, what do you think, will Lexus fit the V8 of the LS600h, the new V6 of the 2013 GS450h, or a completely new engine?
Here is a clue:“Combined with a next-generation hybrid powertrain, this concept promises a rewarding driving experience that is also kinder to the environment.”
