(VIDEO) Electric Andros Trophy 2011-2012: stages 1 and 2, Val Thorens and Andorra

Here we go again this year, we are already at the second stage out of seven for the electric Andros Trophy launched in 2009.

A quick overview on the rules: after two practice sessions -that provide the starting grid for the first two races and the next two- the12 pilots compete in four races... Accumulating points of each race gives the ranking of the event.


The 2011-2012 Electric Championship on Ice was launched on Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th, December in Val Thorens

And already the two firsts of the 2010-2011 season (won by Nicolas Prost in front of Christophe Ferrier) are neck and neck: Christophe Ferrier takes the first place in front of Nicolas Prost and Olivier Pernaut.

The second stage took place in Andorra last weekend (9 and 10 December)

This time, it's Adrien Tambay, inspired by the circuit of the Pas de la Casa that takes the first place ahead of Christophe Ferrier (they won each two races out of 4), while Franck Lagorce who finishes third signs three fastest laps.


Here is the Andorra stage with Margot Laffite who takes the 7th place of the event and first place in women's rankings.

Third stage is in l’Alpe d'Huez this week end.
