Daihatsu at the Tokyo Motor Show, an electric microcar and a two-cylinder sports car

Daihatsu will present four concept vehicles and eight production cars at the 2011 Tokyo Motor Show (from December 3rd to 11th)

Here are the concepts:

D-X, a mini sports-car a manly version (at least in its design) of the Copen, it is fitted with a twin cylinder direct injection turbo engine and offers a body that can be customized with resin components.

PICO, a two seater electric micro-car between the two wheeler and a normal car, designed for daily urban use and short trips, it offers a flat floor and driver assistance technologies via a radar. It could be especially suited for delivery services.

The FC ShoCase, the urban vehicle of the future in its form and powertrain technology an “affordable” liquid fuel cell containing no rare materials, a liquid with a high energy density allowing interesting ranges... We will give you more information on this technology as soon as it is released by the brand.

The last concept is much less futuristic, it is the compact Mira e:S in a special livery, a metallic blue color which varies with the view angle.
