(VIDEO) Venturi targets a new speed record with 750kph (466mph) and confirms production of the America concept!

In an interview with the magazine Turbo today, Gildo Pastore has made two important revelations.

The first is that Venturi, after setting a speed record of 515kph (320,7mph) with the Jamais Contente in 2010, is now looking at the 750kph barrier with two 1500hp electric motors!

Then, Venturi had never hidden its desire to produce the Concept America: presented at the Paris Auto Show in 2010, this electric buggy derived for the Fetish in its lines and chassis, with a ride height reviewed for greater versatility. But until then they had never announced its production...

"Some dreams do not leave, on the contrary, they amplify and get more specific with time."

This vehicle is, as its name announces destined to the US market and will represent the “cool green attitude” it target the SUV and recreational vehicles market. It will be produced locally to be more competitive with Tesla.

More to come on these two announcements soon.
