After very noticeable appearances on various exhibitions including the International Exhibition in Shanghai last year, here is the return of the EN-V on the front of the stage.
Despite its size and gadget aspect, these vehicles are destined to be real technology demonstrators.

On the occasion of their centennial Chevrolet shows their vision of the future of the automobile in megacities.

Once GM concepts, the EN-V (Electric Networked-Vehicle) is now attached to a brand, the Chevy EN-V.
“For 100 years, the Chevrolet brand has been focused on making advanced technology that improves customers’ lives accessible and affordable, and the Chevrolet EN-V will continue that tradition,” Chris Perry.

Some of the technologies on board:
-Wireless charging
-Platooning with multiple sensors
-Autonomous driving via a GPS antenna
-Connected vehicles with a real-time traffic vision.

The EN-V is a two-seater electric vehicle with engines placed in the wheels that offers a range of 40km, its second generation is already under consideration.

“The Chevrolet EN-V has the potential to reinvent transportation in key markets by creating a new vehicle DNA through the convergence of electrification and connectivity,” said Chris Borroni-Bird, GM’s director of Advanced Technology Vehicle Concepts.

Pilot programs in some megacities will soon be implemented, especially in the Tianjin Eco-City with which GM has signed a memorandum of understanding.
