(VIDEO) Seat Mii: three mini city-cars for the VW Group (Skoda Citigo, and VW Up!)

After the launch of the headline, the Up! during the Frankfurt Motor Show, the VW Group gradually unveiled the “local” editions of its city-car.

Indeed, the Skoda and the Seat will be launched in their respective markets (Spain and Czech Republic) three quarters before their arrival in the rest of Europe, expected by next summer.

Once again offered (like its cousins) with the new 1.0liter three-cylinder petrol engine developing 60 and 75hp respectively, with consumption figures of 4.5 and 4.7l/100km and max speeds of 160 and 171kph. The Ecomotive version fitted with the Start/Stop and energy recovery system offers only 97g/km for 4.2l/100km.

The greenest version of the Mii will be (like the Up!) the CNG Version (Natural Gas), but compared to the Up! It announces 86g/km instead of 79g/km.

The Seat Mii is equipped with a 35l fuel tank and has a 854kg unladen weight.

This new version of the Up! says it is more sporty, a typical positioning of the Iberian brand, and features a portable infotainment system that combines GPS, telephone, entertainment and the function vehicle... Or how to use a SmartPhone connectivity the other way around, innovative, remains to see whether this approach seduces or not...
