(VIDEO) Planet Solar, the solar-powered catamaran has arrived in Australia
04 June 2011We left Planet Solar on March 8 in Nuku Hiva, Polynesia nearly halfway between Panama and Brisbane through their journey in the South Pacific.
In its May video, Planet Solar or Turanor takes us from the Tonga to Australia in turquoise seas, with a stop in Noumea.
Arriving to Australia, the bad weather didn’t stop the Turanor, 40 knots of wind and rough sea with 4 meters waves are nothing for this 31 meter long giant.
