Kia: hybrid sedan in 2013, electric vehicle in 2014 (Soul EV)

Indeed, for the moment, two electric models are sold by the brand in its local market, the Ray EV and Venga EV, but the Korean brand has decided to take the next step with a launch in Europe for 2014. The car will be based on the all new Soul which is expected to debut at the Chicago Auto Show in February or New York Auto Show a month later.
No indication on the design of this new Soul, that will not be –still according to Benny Oeyen- a simple facelift but a completely new model ... Hopefully inspired by the Naimo pictured here!

About its specs it will used proven components developed for the Ray EV or Venga EV and should offer a bigger motor.
