(VIDEO) Production of the Nissan e-NV200 announced for 2013
24 May 2012Originally presented as a concept at the Detroit auto show, the electric version of the NV200 will be produced from 2013 in Barcelona.
Second all-electric vehicle of the brand, the e-NV200 will allow Nissan to reach two strategic markets, as an electric utility vehicle for companies but also as an electric minivan, its only competitor being the BYD e6 for the moment.
We could also see e-NV200 as Taxi and especially in New York, currently renewing its fleet, also announced that some electric taxis would be available in the city with a real competitive advantage through low cost maintenance.

It will be built from 2013 in Barcelona, a €100 million investment by Nissan in Spain.
NV200 electric prototypes are already being tested in Europe and Japan, Nissan announces a range similar to the Leaf, 175 km (NEDC).
